Walked in at 8 pm on a Fri. Completely packed. 25 min wait for 2 people. Kitchen closes on the dot so it was last call for orders. We ordered the pork and shrimp siu mai $13, lamb dumpling with zucchini $13, spicy beef tendon and marinated beef $13, Shanghai soup dumpling $11. All the food was excellent except for the siu mai, which seemed like generic frozen ones, but it tasted decent and for the portion, can't complain. The Shanghai soup dumplings were decent, cold beef dish was good, and the best dish was the regular dumplings. The menu is extensive. I would go back and try other dishes and more flavors of the regular type dumplings. Service was decent. Food came out quick. It's a relatively small sized restaurant and they are very busy. Small shared parking lot right in front, but plenty of parking nearby on the street or in other parking lots. Overall, great food, reasonable prices, and good portions
Stopped in for dinner. We just beat the dinner rush. Looks like a small family restaurant. Ordered via our phone, got the popcorn chicken, garlic bok choy, lamb and zucchini dumpling, shrimp and chive dumpling, dan dan noodle, Thai iced tea, and cumin beef. The popcorn chicken was ok, nothing spectacular. Thai iced tea was good. Garlic bok choy was the outstanding. Both dumplings were great. Cumin beef was not what I expected, it was good though. Dan Dan noodle also not what I expected, I guess I prefer the Chinese or shezhuan but it was good. Recommend the dumplings here. It seems they also sell dumplings frozen for take home.
Been here a few times, it’s a small friendly restaurant, usually not loud. They serve very yummy food, everything I’ve tried has been delicious.
Delicious! I’m a big dumpling fan and always looking for new spots to try, and this place did not disappoint. The dumplings taste very authentic, with great traditional flavor and texture. The sauces are simple but perfect—soy sauce, vinegar, chili paste, and a spicy sauce that pairs really well with the dumplings. I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.
Surprisingly delightful!
I wasn't expecting much. But this place blew me away.
We ordered the BBQ pork steamed bun, pork dumpling with dill, and Shanghai soup dumpling (6) They were flavorful and flesh.
We also had Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet and creamy. But the lychee juice was pretty good. The staff was welcoming. And the whole place felt cozy and inviting. Definitely worth a stop!
